USB Type A Female is the Latest Field Termination Connector from L-com Global Connectivity
This is just the newest part in a broad family of “field terminable” connectors that L-com offers.
Existing field term options L-com has are:
- DB9 Female
- DB15 Female
- DB25 Female
- HD15 (VGA Connector) Female
- Mini-DIN 4 Pin (S-Video Connector) Female
- And DVD-D Dual Link Female
Unlike traditional connectors that require solder, these can be installed quickly and easily with a screw driver. They are preferred by field installers because they can easily accommodate special wiring or quick gang-box hookups.
