New 2.4 GHz FCC-Certified Economy Amplifier Kits Offer WLAN Amplification at Economy Prices

NORTH ANDOVER, MA –05/23/2011 – L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, has introduced new economy WLAN amplifiers to the market.  The new amplifier kits are 2.4 GHz frequency, perfect for 802.11b/g networks, and come complete with a power supply, a 2 dBi rubber duck antenna, and an L-com WLAN-LCUSB 802.11b/g wireless Ethernet adapter.

“We saw a growing demand from our U.S. customers for amplifier kits that conform to the FCC guidelines,” said Patrick Pesa, product manager. “These new kits answer the call for economy versions of our popular amplifiers.”

The new amplifier kits are for sale only to customers in the United States.  They range in power from 100 mW to 1 Watt.
