Newly designed USB 3.0 versions of our popular ECF style panel mount USB adapter cables are now available ! This series features a bulkhead Type A 3.0 jack to a molded Type A 3.0 90 degree up angle plug attached via USB 3.0 compliant cable. Integral to this design is a multi-layered PCB that maintains USB 3.0 speed and performance. USB 3.0 systems are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 - 4.8 Gbps versus 480 Mbps. The increased bandwidth substantially reduces the time required for transferring large amounts of data or video. These assemblies are fully shielded and use L-com's popular ECF504 style housing that can be used with virtually any panel thickness. The recommended 4-40 mounting screws must be purchased separately (P/N ECF440).
