The BT-CAT5-E1-4870 is a compact indoor single-port CAT5 Midspan/Injector (also known as PoE Passive Splitter). It provides DC power for one PoE-equipped device and is compatible with AP's and other equipment supporting the IEEE standard PoE pinout (Pins 4/5 Power+ and Pins 7/8 Power-).

This compact Midspan/Injector features shielded RJ45 Jacks and power indicator LED. An over current protection circuit is designed into the unit for added protection of PoE devices used with this injector.

This kit includes the injector/tap and a 48VDC @ 70W power supply (PS4870-25R).

This unit is also available individually or in the following kits:
