In stock and ready to ship today, L-com's Cat6a, 10 position, ix Industrial plugs and receptacles are designed for high speed applications where tough, shielded connectors are required where an ordinary RJ45 wouldn't cut it. The IXJ-H series 10gig ix Industrial connectors are next generation Ethernet jacks that are 75% smaller than a typical RJ45. This allows for parallel 10mm pitch mounting which is ideal for daisy-chaining and connector dense applications. They have durable metal shells with high EMC resistance, a robust rating of 5,000 mating cycles and up to 10gigbit through-put for Category 6a or 7 use. High resistance to vibration and motion along with a lockdown pins contribute to a 25N disengage force which allows ix connectors to function in spaces where a standard RJ45 would fail. IXJ-H-A is a PCB mount type ix Industrial jack/female with A type keying and a horizontal right angle orientation. It is designed for PCB mounting and has 5 robust through-hole contacts to secure the jack to the PC board. The ix Industrial connectors meet IEC 61076-3-124 standards and are recognized as an official Machine Vision connector. 10g throughput will handle up to Category 6a or 7 applications and is backwards compatible with Category 5e and Category 6 use. ix Industrial connectors are idea for use in industrial environments as their small, durable and robust form factor along with high-speed transmission and PoE properties contribute to smart manufacturing and equipment evolution beyond RJ45. IXP and IXJ ix plugs and jacks available at L-com include connectors in both solder and crimp style as well as PCB mount capable receptacles in upright, horizontal and vertical right angle orientations.
