The Icron 3-2-1 Starling 3251C-10 00-00456 Series of USB extension products provides short-distance extension with all USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) device types across a point-to-point connection of up to 10 meters. ICR3251C-10 is backwards compatible to USB 3.1, 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1. It is Bus powered out of the box and there is an optional power supply available if more power is required for your application or if your USB bus's power is insufficient. To use Bus power, the Bus must have a USB-C connection that provides upstream power capable of at least 5V at 3A. If sufficient power is supplied, the Remote unit (REX) unit will have up to 900mA of power available for connected devices. The 3251C is available with a CM or CMP (Plenum) rated extension cable. ICR3251C-10 is the CM version. ICR3251C-10-PL is the plenum version. The plenum version is recommended if you are running the extension cable in wall or in ceiling through a Riser or Plenum rated space. The ICR3251C-10 is FCC and CE (Class A) compliant. A point to point range of 10m is supported and the included CM rated ARJ45 cable must be used for extension. Supports SuperSpeed, High-Speed, Full-Speed and Low-Speed USB devices as well as all device types, classes and USB transfer and traffic methods including Control, Interrupt, Isochronous and Bulk. Please note that the cable for CM and CMP versions of the Starling are not interchangeable and DisplayPort ALT mode functionality is not supported.
