HyperAmp® HA2401SFGE-500 Series RF amplifiers are compatible with 802.11b/g wireless LAN equipment. Hyperlink's Active Power Control circuit automatically adjusts the amplifier's gain to provide a constant output power regardless of cable length, radio transmit power, temperature shifts or equipment aging. Hyperlink's proprietary copper heat sinking technology allows maximum heat transfer between RF power device and the aluminum case which doubles as a large heat sink. This exclusive Hyperlink feature allows the amplifier to be used in high duty cycle applications like Hotspots or IP cameras.
The HyperAmp® HA2401SFGE-500 series improves range by delivering full transmit power directly to the antenna where it is most effective. In addition, the unit's low noise receive section compensates for cable losses to help improve receive performance. The unit can be configured to deliver the full transmit power with as little as 5 mW of input power, permitting cable runs of several hundred feet with no degradation in operating range.
Built-In Power-Over-Ethernet Pass-Through
The HA2401SFGE-500 features a built-in Power-Over-Ethernet interface. This allows the amplifier to receive its power by the same CAT5 cable used to pass Data and Power to an additional PoE device. This eliminates the need for an additional DC Injector and coax cable, simplifying installation. For non-PoE applications, the amplifier can be powered by an optional 9 VDC power supply available from HyperLink.

The HA2401SFGE-500 series amplifiers feature a rugged, cast aluminum construction to ensure years of reliable operation.
Designed for OEM Applications
The HA2401SFGE-500 features low profile SMA-Female connectors. This helps reduce the overall height of the amplifier, making it ideal for installations with limited space. When used with cables terminated with right angle connectors, the total height of the amplifier is approximately 2.25 inches. These amplifiers are designed for indoor use unless they installed in weather-resistant enclosures.
