The PMOD units cannot take the place of a switch or hub.  In your application, you would need to install a small switch or hub in order to hook up 5 additional computers.  I would suggest taking a look at our part number MIL-S500 or SW-504.  Both are low cost 5 port switches that can help you expand your network.  Using either of these switches will add 4 additional ports to your network (one port is used to link to existing network).  You can find both of these items on the website by clicking on the part numbers above.
