North Andover, MA, September 21, 2005 -- L-com Connectivity Products Purchases State-Of-The-Art RoHS Equipment
As part of their continuous improvement efforts, L-com has committed to purchase three state-of-the-art material analyzers for use in verifying base material composition of their product offerings.
This improvement effort is mainly driven by the European Union- RoHS restricted materials requirement. Additional value will be gained by using the system for product acceptance inspection and supplier surveillance audits of RoHS and other material identification needs.
The first unit has been purchased (September 05) and is being implemented in L-com's North Andover facility. Additional units will be brought on-line for a China facility and west coast U.S. distribution center.
