Press Release: Low Smoke Zero Halogen SCSI-3 Cable Assembly

North Andover, MA, June 14, 2004 -- L-com Connectivity Products has announced the availability of its new CAUZ900MM series of low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) SCSI-3 cable assemblies.

Low smoke zero halogen cable reduces the amount of toxic and corrosive gases emitted during combustion. Typically used in poorly ventilated areas, low smoke zero halogen is becoming very popular where the protection of people and equipment from toxic and corrosive gasses is critical.

Cable assembly construction features half pitch DB68 male connectors, die cast zinc alloy hoods with 2-56 threaded thumbscrews, and 30 micro-inch gold plated copper alloy contacts. Bulk cable construction is UL style 20855 with polypropylene insulated 28 AWG conductors, foil/braid shield, and a black LSZH outer jacket. Choose from lengths of 1, 2, and 3 meters.
