I would like to know the crimp height and tolerance of a L-com Crimper P.N. HTS2500 using a TDS8PC5 Modular plug.

We do not have specific information about the tool as it is set at the factory. However whenever testing a modular crimp for accuracy you would use a standard GO/NOGO Gauge. The FCC 68.5 Specification is 0.237 +/- .005 IN.

We do not carry a GO/NOGO Gauge in our current product offering, but you can purchase one from www.AMP.com http://www.amp.com/. The AMP Part# we use is 662908-1 Rev. B. You may need to contact them for any revisions to the part number.
