Fiber Optic Cables Now Come In Colored Varieties at L-com Connectivity Products

Blue Fiber CablesNorth Andover, MA – January 30th, 2008 – L-com Connectivity Products now offers colored fiber cables for 50/125, 62.5/125 and 9/125 applications. The new colored fiber optic cable series provide an easy way to identify ports and equipment in crowded IT closets.

By utilizing color codes, ports can be segmented by usage. For example, red could denote VoIP services and blue could represent IP security camera connections.

Each cable undergoes a double ended loss test before shipping ensuring the highest quality. Color choices for 50/125 and 62.5/125 Multimode are red, green, blue and yellow, as well as the traditional slate and orange. Color choices for 9/125 are red, green, and blue as well as the traditional yellow.
