Coaxial Crimping Tools
If you are going to be making a lot of coaxial cable assemblies, you'll need a coaxial crimping tool. These tools function much like pliers do, but in the jaws of the devices there is a "hex" shaped hole. Different coaxial connectors require different sized hexes to properly crimp them.
In addition to the crimper, you will also need a good stripping tool. This tool helps you strip the outer jacket without nicking the shielding. Some tools also help strip the dielectric without nicking the center conductor.
