Today we are installing a HyperLink brand indoor WiFi booster from L-com. This WiFi signal booster is very easy to install and features rugged, cast aluminum construction, easy to read transmit and receive LEDs and Active Power Control which automatically adjusts the booster’s gain to provide a constant output power regardless of cable length.
First, connect a WiFi antenna to one end of a low loss coax cable.
Then, connect the other end of the cable to the output labeled “antenna” on the WiFi booster.
Next, connect a WiFi access point or WiFi router to one end of another low loss coax cable.
Now connect the other end of the cable to the output labeled “radio” on the WiFi booster.
Finally, plug the supplied AC adapter into the WiFi booster’s DC power jack. . .and the other end into an AC wall outlet.
Setup is now complete. The LEDs will flash on the WiFi booster indicating transmitting and receiving activity.
